3 Wheel Double Buggy

Claire who was our test subject was impressed by the packaging. It was easy to open and clean. She found it to be one of the most simple and quick pieces of baby equipment to put together. She took it out for a spin on the rough terrain and was very pleased with its performance.
Seats
The majority of triple buggies start life as single pushchairs, but some models can be converted to accommodate an additional seat or carrycot by converting adapters (these are typically more common in tandem buggies). You'll also see that some models allow you to add a ride-on board to older children who would like to walk but require some help.
If you're looking for a lightweight option that is ideal for urban streets, look into the Joie Evalite Duo. It's easy to move and has a deep basket that has plenty of storage space. It can accommodate twins from at birth and accepts two car seats or a carrycot with a seat. However, the seats need to face forwards and there's no room for a shopping bag underneath which is why you'll need a backpack for this.
If you like to go off-road and off-road, the Mountain Buggy Duet is a good option. It's a side-by-side with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy available on the market. It is easier to get through narrow doors on public transport, and to climb up and over kerbs. It also has a handbrake on the adjustable handlebar for extra security and safety.
The UPPAbaby vista 2 double is another lightweight option that can be used by twins or a toddler and a baby. The seats have a multi-position reclining with UPF 50+ sunshades. The canopy can be adjusted to ensure that the sun does not get into your child's eyes. The Vista 2 can be converted into a triple by adding UPPAbaby’s "PiggyBack" board, which is designed for older children.
The iCandy Orange is one of the most well-known double buggies on the market, thanks to its superb comfort. It's an all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension, which is able to handle bumpy surfaces. It comes with 30 different seating configurations as well as a built-in table for older children who like to walk and a 'cinema' mode which raises the back seat for better visibility.
Alternatively, the phil&teds dot is a fantastic single buggy from the beginning that is able to easily be adapted to take 2 (or 3!) in multiple configurations. This is particularly useful for parents who have children in a car. The frame can be adapted to a wedgie, which allows for the best lie-flat position. Or car seat adapters that work with many brands.
Suspension
The suspension of a double 3-wheel buggy will determine how easily you and your child/children are able to push it. A smooth ride is vital since babies can feel every bump on the road, especially if it's on rough terrain such as grass or dirt roads. Some models also have locking front wheels to assist with maneuvering and getting over obstacles like curbs.
Certain models have air-filled tyres that give you a great all-terrain adventure, but they could be susceptible to punctures, therefore, make sure you have a spare set in the trunk. Certain models come with gel-filled or foam-filled tyres that are designed to cushion bumps. They can be less likely to puncture, however they could be uncomfortable for your child should you decide to jog.

MFM reviewer Kath took the Urban Glide 2 through its trials with her newborn and 3 year old children, and discovered that it was able to handle difficult terrain: "it navigated effortlessly over bumpy pavements and grass dirt tracks, cobbles and cobbles effortlessly and was easy to maneuver around corners and climb up and down kerbs. It's also very comfortable to jog, with the 16" rear wheels and lockable swivel front wheels giving you a stable jogging experience." Folding
A 3-wheel double buggy folds pretty neatly for storage. It features a clever 3-wheel design with a sling seat for superior manoeuvrability, stability and the ability to pop the kerb.
If you want to jog with your kids, this is the best double buggie for jogging because it has a lockable front wheel that can help you keep your balance when you're on off-road or hilly tracks. It comes with a huge undercarriage, an adjustable handlebar, and soft suspension for the most comfortable ride.
It's a light compact model that folds with one hand. It's ideal for traveling. It's compatible with a broad range of infant car seats, and comes with a handy pull-out undercarriage basket that can be used to store items. It's a bit on the expensive side but does have a few distinctive features that make it an excellent value choice, including its easy one-click fold and a host of other features including a bumper bar and raincover.
Stores
Many are awed by the storage capacity of the triple wheeled double buggy. Some models, like the Roma Atlas, have a large basket and two zip pockets on the hood where you can store your keys and phone. It's also designed to deal with rough terrain, so it's a great option for family walks or all-terrain strolls.

Other models like the UPPAbaby Vista 2 offer plenty of space and flexibility to accommodate twins or a toddler and a baby (it takes their 'PiggyBack' board make this possible). It's the most compact side-by-side double on the market. It also features impressive technology, including LED lights for visibility which are located on each side of its frame to improve safety during low-light conditions.
For something a little different and unique, the Joie Evalite Duo is a light buggy that can hold twins from birth (it's open to the world and features an upright position). The frame's clever design expands to accommodate an extra seat, but it weighs only 11kg. This makes it simple to lift and move. It can also accommodate the form of a car seat or a carrycot, so you can have the best of both worlds and it future proofs your wallet since you don't have to buy a new buggy as soon as you get it.
